Dr. Lacreuse is a Professor in the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, USA. She has over 25 years of experience working with nonhuman primates, including baboons, capuchins, rhesus monkeys and marmosets. She has also contributed to research projects in chimpanzees. Her current studies investigate neurocognitive aging in the common marmoset, with questions focusing on sex differences, neuroestrogens and Alzheimer’s disease.
